The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have implemented a secure electronic module for confidential data sharing between the two organizations.
FBR has issued instructions to the fled formations on Wednesday. According to the FBR’s instructions, a secure electronic module for data sharing between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been established, initially deployed at FBR (I IQ).
This system has been developed by NADRA to facilitate efficient and timely processing of official data requisitions, while ensuring strict confidentiality of public records and safeguarding against cyber threats and unauthorized access to sensitive information. It is, therefore requested that the required data from NADRA may kindly be shared with the FBR.
The data request should be supported with appropriate documentary evidence clearly stating the justification and official purpose for which the data is being sought, to comply with NADRA s data requisition protocols, FBR added.
