The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has extended the admission deadline for medical and dental colleges across the country for the academic session 2025-26.
According to a notification issued on February 19, 2026, the council decided in its meeting held on February 10 to extend the admission timelines until March 31, 2026. The extension applies to all public and private sector medical and dental colleges nationwide.
The notification states that admissions must be completed strictly in accordance with the PM&DC Admissions Regulations, 2025, along with subsequent decisions taken by the council.
The council also clarified that no further extension will be granted beyond March 31, 2026.
The notification has been circulated to vice chancellors of admitting universities, principals and deans of PM&DC-recognized medical and dental colleges, and relevant departments within the council for implementation.
