LESCO Bans Electricity Bill Payments at Post Offices

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has banned the collection of electricity bills at government post offices.

According to officials, the facility to pay electricity bills at post offices will be discontinued from April 1.

LESCO authorities have advised consumers to use alternative payment methods, including the QR code printed on their bills, commercial banks, and other authorized channels to ensure timely payments.

Officials said adopting digital and alternative payment options will help consumers avoid inconvenience and make the payment process faster and more efficient.

Consumers have been directed to update their payment methods before the deadline to prevent any difficulties in bill submission after the new policy takes effect.
