The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department (ET&NCD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has continued its enforcement drive against property tax defaulters in Peshawar, sealing several defaulting units during the operation.
The Excise and Taxation Office (ETO-II) Peshawar carried out the crackdown under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer Tausif Khan.
Authorities formed special recovery teams led by Assistant Excise and Taxation Officers Nasir Mahmood Khan and Zar Ali Khan to recover outstanding property tax from major defaulters.
The department stated that several property owners failed to clear their dues despite receiving repeated notices. Authorities then initiated legal proceedings under the relevant laws and sealed multiple properties in different areas of the city.
The ET&NCD has urged property owners to pay their outstanding property tax to avoid further legal action and inconvenience.
