Pink Button Service Introduced in Another Punjab District

CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has launched a new safety initiative in Murree with the activation of the “Pink Button” emergency service.

Authorities have introduced the system to enable residents and tourists to contact police instantly during emergencies. By pressing the designated button, users can directly alert the relevant police unit, allowing officers to respond without delay.

District police officials stated that Murree attracts thousands of visitors throughout the year and remains a major tourist destination. The government has prioritized measures to strengthen public safety and improve emergency response in the area.

Murree District Police Officer Raza Tanveer Sapra said the Pink Button service will provide rapid assistance in urgent situations and enhance the sense of security for both residents and visitors.

Officials said the system has now become operational and will function as an additional tool to improve coordination between citizens and law enforcement in the hill station.
