Police Arrest 13 for Illegal Kite Flying

Authorities carried out a special crackdown on kite flying during the Sunday holiday, arresting 13 individuals who were caught violating the ban.

According to a spokesperson for the Dolphin Squad, the suspects were arrested while flying kites despite restrictions. Kites and string were recovered from those detained. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the relevant police stations for legal action.

In the same operation, the Dolphin Squad also targeted dangerous one-wheeling activities across several areas. A total of 30 individuals involved in motorcycle stunt riding were arrested from Canal Road, Jail Road, Walton Road, and Defense.

Police confiscated motorcycles from those involved in one-wheeling. All 43 suspects, including those arrested for kite flying and stunt riding, have been transferred to local police stations for further legal proceedings.

The Dolphin Squad confirmed that the special enforcement operation remains ongoing.
