BISP Launches Digital Dashboard for Benazir Nashonuma Program

The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has launched a real-time digital dashboard for its flagship stunting-prevention initiative, the Benazir Nashonuma Program.

The dashboard was officially launched by BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid, alongside Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmed Shah and Country Director of the World Food Program, Coco Ushiyama.

Key Features of the Dashboard

  • Provides real-time insights for monitoring program performance
  • Strengthens accountability and policy response at federal and provincial levels
  • Supports data-driven decision-making in health and social protection sectors
  • Tracks nutrition interventions for children, especially during the critical first 1,000 days of life

Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted that the initiative aims to promote better growth for children and tackle nutritional deficiencies among girls.

She also acknowledged technical support from the World Food Program, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization.

The Benazir Nashonuma Program has so far reached over four million women and children, providing essential nutrition during the crucial early years of life.

Ramadan Stipend Increase

In addition to the dashboard, BISP announced an increase in stipend amounts across its flagship programs for Ramadan, offering relief to 10 million beneficiary families across Pakistan.

  • Benazir Kafalat quarterly stipend: Increased from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500 (an increase of Rs. 1,000)
  • Enhanced payments will be disbursed during the month of Ramadan

This initiative reflects BISP’s continued commitment to social protection, nutrition, and financial support for vulnerable populations.
