Nothing Officially Reveals Phone 4a’s Restyled Glyph Lighting

Nothing is set to unveil its Phone (4a) series on March 5, and the company has now shared the first official look at the Nothing Phone (4a). The reveal follows weeks of leaks and rumors surrounding the device’s design and specifications.

Design and Glyph Changes

The Phone (4a) keeps the brand’s semi-transparent design language seen on earlier models. The new version introduces a more exposed lower back section with a dual-tone finish. It will be offered in at least four colors: white, black, blue, and pink.

One of the key design updates is the introduction of the Glyph Bar, replacing the previous Glyph Interface. The new system includes six square LED modules positioned next to the camera island. Each square contains nine individually controllable mini LEDs. Nothing confirmed that the Glyph Bar remains programmable and is brighter than earlier implementations.

The button layout has also changed. The Essential key now appears on the left side of the device, separating it from the power and volume buttons, which remain on the right.

Leaked Specifications

According to earlier leaks, the Phone (4a) will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device is also tipped to include a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 50W wired charging.

On the rear, the camera setup is rumored to consist of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Nothing is expected to confirm full details when it officially launches the Phone (4a) series on March 5.
