The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 106th consecutive day on Tuesday.
Every day, the PKR is posting gains. While mostly small, the rupee is breaking records against the greenback by posting gains every day. The local currency has never gone on such a long run of positive gains against the dollar before.
Meanwhile, it posted gains against most of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 279.52 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar today.
PKR closed in green against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
It gained Rs. 1.33 against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 1.24 against the Euro (EUR).

It also gained 41 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and 29 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
