Right after Eid, Punjab University will observe spring break from Tuesday, March 24 to Friday, March 27, 2026. This spring recess will cover teaching departments, institutes, centers, constituent colleges, and schools. Classes and academic activities are scheduled to restart on Monday, March 30, 2026.

The notification also makes a key distinction for office operations: administrative staff will return to duty from March 24, even as academic units remain closed for spring recess, to ensure official work and academic arrangements continue without disruption.

The holiday schedule was issued under the signature of Registrar Dr. Ahmed Islam and circulated to university leadership and relevant offices for implementation.

The university has advised students and staff to plan their routines and travel in line with the announced dates, adding that academic activities will resume as per schedule after the break.
