Rawalpindi Division to Get 17 Model Villages

Authorities have approved a Rs. 2.22 billion project to upgrade 17 villages in Rawalpindi Division as model villages under the Annual Development Program.

Under the project, the government will construct and pave roads, streets, drains, and sewerage systems in the selected villages. Officials will launch new drinking water supply schemes and install water filtration plants to provide clean water.

The plan also includes hiring sanitary workers to improve waste disposal and establishing new dispensaries and basic health units to strengthen healthcare services.
