Gold prices in Pakistan posted a small decrease on Thursday, as international rates continued to ease while still being closer to $5,200 per ounce.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola declined to Rs. 540,562 after gaining Rs. 700 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 463,444, up Rs. 600, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 541,262 after gaining Rs. 1,300 during the day.
In the international market, gold prices decreased by $7 to reach $5,178 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also fell, decreasing by Rs. 350 to settle at Rs. 9,204 per tola.
