Pakistan’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi has temporarily halted in-person consular services in the UAE, citing the evolving regional situation and safety considerations for both visitors and staff.
In a circular, the embassy pointed to guidance issued by the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, which has advised private-sector entities to facilitate remote work and has discouraged people from staying in open areas.
Calling the move a precautionary step, the embassy said walk-in consular operations will remain suspended until further notice. It added that any decision on resuming services will be shared later through official updates.
Pakistani nationals in the UAE were also advised to follow local authorities’ instructions and rely on official announcements for timely information.
