The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the introduction of E-Answerbooks for selected matriculation examination papers.
In a press release issued on February 26, 2026, the board stated that the new system will be implemented for all papers of Class IX Science Group. For Class X Science Group, the E-Answerbook will be used for two papers — Mathematics Paper II and Computer Studies Paper II.
According to the board, a sample of the E-Answerbook has been uploaded on the official BSEK website (www.bsek.edu.pk).
The board has directed heads of all government and private schools and teachers to download the sample answerbook from the website and ensure that students practice using it as much as possible before the examinations.
BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain instructed school administrations to inform students about the new answerbook format and ensure proper preparation ahead of the exams.
