The Punjab government will launch the Horse and Cattle Show 2026 in Lahore on March 28, with the opening ceremony scheduled to take place at Fortress Stadium.
One of the most anticipated attractions of the event will be the grand float parades scheduled from March 28 to April 11. The parades will move through major roads of Lahore and feature colorful displays celebrating rural life and regional culture.
A vintage car and motorcycle show will also be held at the Lahore Polo Club on March 29. In addition, an international polo match will take place there on April 1, along with the Arab Horse Dressage and Tent Pegging Championships.
The Horse and Cattle Exhibition will be held at Fortress Stadium from April 3 to April 5. Farmers, breeders, and livestock experts from across the country are expected to bring their best animals to the exhibition grounds.
Competitions and displays will highlight the quality and diversity of cattle breeds and the long-standing prestige associated with horse breeding.
Meanwhile, a circus show will take place at Jilani Park from March 31 to April 11. A food and music festival along with a fashion showcase will also be organized from April 10 to April 12.
Similarly, a Sufi festival will be held at Hazuri Bagh on April 12. Kabaddi and other sports competitions will also be organized at Jilani Park, while a cycle race will also be part of the program.
The closing ceremony of the Horse and Cattle Show 2026 will be held on April 18, where highlights from the festival’s activities will be presented.
