Alongside the launch of the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, Nothing has also unveiled the Headphone (a), its first affordable pair of Nothing-branded over-ear headphones with insane battery life.
The Headphone (a) is available in four colors: pink, yellow, white, and black. The company advertises up to 135 hours of battery life on a single charge. A five-minute recharge is said to deliver up to five hours of playback. The headphones weigh 310 grams and feature memory foam cushions. They carry an IP52 rating for dust and sweat resistance.
The Headphone (a) uses the same physical control system introduced with the Headphone (1), including the Roller, Paddle, and Button. These controls are designed to adjust volume, navigate media, and switch active noise cancellation modes.
The Button can also function as a remote camera trigger. In addition, the Channel Hop feature allows users to press the Button to switch between selected apps and functions without accessing their phone directly.
The headphones are certified for Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless and support the LDAC codec. They are equipped with 40mm titanium-coated drivers. The active noise cancellation system includes three preset modes, and the device features three microphones for calls.
Through the Nothing X app, users can access an eight-band equalizer. A real-time Bass Enhancement algorithm is also included.
The Nothing Headphone (a) will go on sale on March 13 in white, black, and pink, priced at $199.
