Gold Prices Rebound Strongly in Pakistan After Oil Rates Lose Hype

Gold prices in Pakistan strongly rebounded on Tuesday, in line with gains in the international market after Monday’s massive oil reversal.

The price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 6,200 to reach Rs. 539,562, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 462,587, up by Rs. 5,316. On Monday, the price per tola had reached Rs. 533,362 after a decline of Rs. 6,500 during the day.

The international rate of gold also increased by $62, bringing it to $5,168 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Silver prices saw a big increase, gaining Rs. 460 to Rs. 9,354 per tola.
