PM Shehbaz Announces Friday As 3rd Weekly Holiday

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level review meeting today at the Prime Minister’s House to assess the implementation of government measures on austerity and energy conservation in light of the current regional situation.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister announced an additional weekly holiday on Friday to further support energy-saving efforts. He emphasized that the government is making every effort to maintain economic stability despite global challenges.

The meeting also outlined that daily and weekly reports on austerity, energy conservation, and workforce management will be submitted to the special committee for monitoring.

The session was attended by key cabinet members, including Mosaddiq Malik, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, Bilal Azhar Kayani, and senior government officials.
