The Sindh government has decided to close educational institutions across the province from March 16 to March 31 under fuel conservation measures.
According to a decision taken by the Sindh cabinet, schools will remain closed during the specified period. However, examinations will continue as scheduled despite the closure.
The cabinet also decided that necessary online classes will continue across Sindh so that academic activities can proceed during the closure of institutions.
As part of broader austerity measures, the Sindh cabinet also approved a reduction in the salaries and privileges of provincial ministers in line with steps being taken by the federal government to address the energy crisis.
