Sindh Govt Announces Public Holiday on Jumma-Tul-Wida

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on Jumma-Tul-Wida. Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah said that a Karachi road will be named after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The minister added that no rally will be allowed on Shahrah-e-Faisal, and all organizations must hold processions on their traditional routes. The ban is due to court orders.

Across the country, processions for Youm-e-Ali are being held in small and major cities, while in Karachi, several streets and lanes in the Saddar area have been blocked with containers.
