Sialkot spinner Usama Mir produced a sensational bowling performance of six wickets for eight runs to lead the team to a massive 110-run victory over Lahore Blues in the 11th match of the National T20 Cup 2026 at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
Lahore Blues captain Saad Nasim chose to field first after winning the toss, but the decision backfired as the seven-time champions Sialkot posted a commanding 210-4 in 20 overs, powered by a half-century from Abdullah Shafique.
Shafique top-scored for Sialkot with an aggressive 57 off 31 balls, hitting six fours and three sixes. The top-order batter also built an important 80-run partnership for the third wicket with Hasan Nawaz, who contributed 41 from 28 deliveries, including three fours and two sixes.
After both batters were dismissed in quick succession, Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti and Mohsin Riaz ensured Sialkot finished strongly. The pair put together an unbeaten 76-run partnership to accelerate the total late in the innings.
Bhatti led the charge with a powerful 47 not out from just 17 balls, striking five fours and three sixes, while Mohsin Riaz provided stability with 30 off 26 balls.
For Lahore Blues, Mohammad Rizwan and Hunain Shah claimed two wickets each.
Chasing a challenging 211-run target, Lahore Blues struggled against Sialkot’s bowling attack and were bowled out for 100 in 14.2 overs.
Wicketkeeper-batter Hamza Zahoor was the top scorer for Lahore Blues with 37 off 23 balls, while opener Umar Siddiq added 31 from 31 deliveries. Apart from them, none of the Lahore Blues batters managed to reach double figures.
Sialkot’s bowling attack was led by Pakistan international Usama Mir, who delivered an outstanding spell of 6-8 in 3.2 overs and was named Player of the Match.
Mir received support from fellow Pakistan international Sufiyan Muqeem, who took two wickets, while Mohammad Ali and Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti claimed one wicket each.
The victory marked Sialkot’s first win in their second match and moved them to second place in Group B of the ongoing National T20 Cup with two points, pushing Karachi Blues and Multan down the standings despite both teams also having two points.
