Xiaomi has introduced the REDMI Smart TV A50 Energy Efficiency Level 1 Edition, a 50-inch smart TV priced at $190. The model focuses on offering a large 4K display, smooth refresh rate, and integration with Xiaomi’s smart ecosystem at an entry-level price.
The TV features a 50-inch 4K UHD panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, improving motion clarity for sports, video content, and gaming. The display uses a direct-lit LCD panel with direct backlighting for consistent brightness. It also includes True Tone display technology to maintain balanced colors during extended viewing.
The device is powered by a quad-core Cortex A35 processor with a Mali G31 MP2 GPU. It includes 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, allowing users to run apps and smart features. The TV runs on Xiaomi Surge OS, providing access to apps and Xiaomi ecosystem features.
The TV includes dual 10W speakers, delivering a total 20W audio output. Connectivity options include two HDMI ports (one with ARC), two USB-A ports, AV input, Ethernet, DTMB and analog support, S PDIF audio output, infrared, and 2.4GHz Wi Fi.
The Energy Efficiency Level 1 rating indicates compliance with China’s highest power efficiency standards.
