Popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is preparing to step into the boxing ring after undergoing professional training with WBO world champion Usman Wazeer.
In a recent interview with a private TV channel, Wazeer confirmed that he has been training Hania Aamir regularly and is impressed with her progress. He described her as a natural fighter, adding that she is quickly developing the skills required for competitive boxing and could soon make her debut in the ring.
Reflecting on his own career, Wazeer highlighted his recent achievements, including securing a hat-trick of victories against Indian opponents, further cementing his reputation on the international stage.
During the interview, former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi also joined the conversation and praised Wazeer’s performances. He congratulated the young boxer and acknowledged his growing impact in the sport.
Afridi also announced his support through the Shahid Afridi Foundation, emphasizing that athletes like Wazeer—who are disciplined, fit, and mentally strong—deserve collective backing to succeed at the highest level.
