The Government of Punjab has issued a clarification addressing a notification circulating online regarding school schedules, urging the public to rely only on official sources for such information.
In its statement, the Government of Punjab rejected the circulating document and advised parents and guardians to remain cautious of unverified notifications.
The viral document stated that schools would reopen on April 1 and operate on a four-day working week from Monday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off for physical classes. The government clarified that schools will reopen on April 1. However, it said the claim regarding a four-day school week is incorrect.
Punjab Education Minister confirmed that schools will operate five days a week from Monday to Friday. The provincial government urged citizens to verify information through official channels and to contact relevant departments in case of any confusion regarding school-related matters.
