Gold prices in Pakistan skyrocketed near Rs. 5 lac per tola today after posting huge gains on Wednesdayas international rates also jumped today.
The price of one tola increased by Rs. 15,300 to Rs. 494,062, while 10 grams appreciated by Rs. 13,117 to Rs. 423,578, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold rose to Rs. 478,762 per tola after gaining Rs. 2,800 during the session.
The international market saw gold prices increase by $153, bringing the rate to $4,713 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.
Silver rose by Rs. 200 to settle at Rs. 7,984 per tola.
