The Higher Education Commission Pakistan has issued important guidelines for students and teachers regarding eligibility for foreign-funded scholarships and admissions.
According to HEC, the UCAT and HAT tests will be conducted on April 19 under its supervision. Candidates have been advised to perform well in these tests, as only those securing higher scores will be eligible to apply for international scholarship programs.
The commission stated that it regularly facilitates foreign-funded scholarships through diplomatic channels, enabling Pakistani students to pursue higher education abroad. These opportunities are offered annually as part of efforts to support academic growth and international exposure for students.
HEC has also cautioned students and faculty members to rely only on verified and authentic information regarding scholarships. It advised applicants to avoid any unverified or fraudulent scholarship schemes circulating through unofficial sources.
Officials further emphasized that strong performance in UCAT and HAT is a prerequisite for applying to most foreign scholarship opportunities, and candidates are encouraged to prepare accordingly to improve their chances of selection.
