Another International Airline Set to Launch Direct Flights to Major Pakistani City

Uzbek airline Centrum Air is preparing to enter the Pakistani market with direct flights between Tashkent and Lahore, adding another international connection for travelers flying into the country.

According to details shared by the airline, the new route will operate twice a week. Flights from Tashkent to Lahore and back are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays, with services expected to begin on April 21.

The Tashkent-to-Lahore flight will operate under call sign C6561, while the return flight from Lahore to Tashkent will use call sign C6562. Centrum Air is expected to use an Airbus A320 aircraft for the route.

The new service is likely to improve travel options for passengers moving between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, while also supporting business and tourism links between the two countries.

Centrum Air is a private budget carrier from Uzbekistan that began operations in January 2023. Headquartered in Tashkent, the airline runs scheduled and charter services for both passengers and cargo, using a modern fleet of Airbus aircraft.

This development also follows another recent international airline entry into Pakistan’s aviation market. Last month, Sri Lanka’s FitsAir announced plans to begin direct flights to Lahore.
