The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has intensified its crackdown on property tax defaulters, sealing multiple units during special operations in Abbottabad and Swabi.
According to department officials, a targeted drive was conducted in the Qalandarabad area of Abbottabad under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer Ammar Jadoon.
The operation targeted major property tax defaulters, and officials sealed several units under legal provisions after repeated notices failed to secure payment of outstanding dues.
In Swabi, similar action was taken under the supervision of Excise and Taxation Officer Shakeel Khan. Multiple properties were sealed due to non-payment of taxes despite repeated warnings.
The department has urged property owners to clear their outstanding property tax liabilities on time to avoid legal action, penalties, and possible sealing of their properties.
Officials stated that such operations will continue across the province without discrimination to ensure effective tax recovery.
