Sindh Allows Public to Reach Ministers Directly Through New Complaint Cell

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the activation of the Sindh Public Complaint Cell, 919, to give citizens direct access to government officials and ensure quick resolution of public complaints.

The chief minister said the initiative is aimed at improving public service delivery by ensuring timely action on complaints and using all available resources to provide relief.

He added that ministers, advisers, special assistants, and government spokespersons have been assigned duties at the complaint cell. Senior officials will be present daily at the Chief Minister’s House to hear public complaints.

According to an official circular, a schedule has been issued for the period from April 1 to June 4, 2026. Complaints will be received every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with designated public representatives available to address and resolve issues.

Citizens can also register complaints through toll-free number 0800-091915 and landline numbers 021-99202047, 021-99207349, and 021-99207568.

The chief minister said involving ministers in the complaint cell will make the grievance redressal process faster and more effective, ensuring direct accountability.

A roster has been issued assigning different officials on specific days. On April 1, spokesperson Ghanur Ali Asran and Special Assistant Muhammad Ali Rashid were on duty.

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab and Special Assistant Sarfaraz Rajar are scheduled for April 2, while spokesperson Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh and Special Assistant Syed Qasim Shah will serve on April 3.

In the following days, various spokespersons and special assistants will attend the complaint cell to hear and resolve public issues as part of the government’s efforts to improve governance and accessibility.

The complaint cell includes ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon, Dr. Azra Pechuho, Nasir Hussain Shah, Syed Sardar Shah, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, Muhammad Bakhsh Mehar, Ali Hassan Zardari, Zulfiqar Shah, Ikramullah Dharejo, Muhammad Ali Malkani, Makhdoom Mehboob-uz-Zaman, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Riaz Shah Shirazi, Shahina Sher Ali, Tariq Ali Talpur, and Muhammad Ismaali Rahoo.

It also includes special spokespersons Muhammad Saleem Baloch, Dr. Sham Sundar, Syed Afzal Shah, Liaquat Ali Asrakani, Tanzila Um Habiba, Raza Haroon, Khair Muhammad Sheikh, Amanullah Mehsud, Kulsoom Chandio, Muhammad Ali Bhutto, Hussain Aslam Bhatti, Veerji Kolhi, Faraz Abid Lakhani, Tariq Hassan, Atta Muhammad Pahanur, Dost Muhammad Rahmoon, Babul Khan Bhiyo, and Najmi Alam, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Ehsan Mazari.
