Pak Star Automobile (Pvt.) Ltd has revised the retail prices of its Metro e-vehicle lineup, citing rising operational costs driven by recent increases in fuel prices.
In a notification issued on April 3, the company said higher sea freight charges, along with increased logistics costs from Karachi seaport to the factory and onward transportation to dealerships, have significantly impacted its cost structure over the past month.
It added that the surge in petroleum product prices has played a key role in pushing up these expenses, leaving the company with limited room to absorb the additional burden.
As a result, the company has increased the prices of all Metro e-vehicle models by Rs. 5,000 with immediate effect.
The revised pricing applies to all orders from April 3, with dealers instructed to deposit payments including the additional amount over existing retail prices.
