Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced a major relief measure for Hajj pilgrims, introducing a one-day, one-window operation at 10 Hajj camps nationwide.
Under this initiative, all essential processes, including training, vaccination, and issuance of travel documents, will be completed in a single day.
The move aims to save both time and travel expenses for pilgrims, with a total of 119,000 Hajj applicants expected to benefit.
The second phase of the Hajj operation will officially begin on Wednesday, April 8. Hajj camps will be operational in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Through the one-window system, pilgrims will receive multiple services under one roof. These include Hajj training, mandatory vaccinations, airline tickets, visas, identification lockets, luggage tags, and medicine packing. The goal is to eliminate the need for repeated visits to different offices.
According to ministry spokesperson Umar Butt, the full schedule for vaccination and training sessions has been made available on the “Pak Hajj App.”
The ministry has also strictly instructed pilgrims to bring their original national identity card and computer-generated bank receipt with photograph when visiting Hajj camps. Additionally, special bank counters have been set up at the camps to facilitate currency exchange for pilgrims.
