Netanyahu Could Be Voted Out As Israeli PM After Pakistan-Backed US-Iran Truce

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing growing domestic unrest and intensifying international pressure over the Pakistan-mediated US-Iran ceasefire, international media reported earlier today.

He is currently seeking political survival after Israel’s disastrous handling of the Gulf War situation.

Recent surveys reported by Israeli media indicate deep divisions within Israeli society following the war with Iran.

Around 58 percent of Israelis reportedly remain skeptical about the results of the war and the effectiveness of the current truce.

At the same time, Israeli sentiment appears far more hawkish on another front. Data showed that 79 percent of respondents support continuing military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon while the rest want all skirmishes to end permanently.

This mood has created a serious dilemma for Netanyahu. His close aides told media outlets earlier that he is struggling to choose between public demands for military action and a ceasefire that brings peace in the region.

International calls for restraint are also intensifying. The United States, Canada, and Germany have urged Israel to uphold the ceasefire agreement and avoid further escalation.

Netanyahu’s western allies fear renewed fighting could trigger a wider regional war and possibly irreparable damage to Israel’s status in the region.

Many X users posted that supporting the US-Iran ceasefire is hurting Netanyahu’s vote bank. However, ignoring international pressure could isolate Israel diplomatically. Some of them predicted that Israel will soon select a new leader to be free from today’s political clout.

  • He’s 76. He should not be leading anyone.

The so called respondents are mostly from netanyahu own party.
Let’s not forget the fact that Israel has one of worst censorship known in any country.
