The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has intensified its crackdown on illegal housing schemes, demolishing an unauthorized project and sealing its office on Narwala Road.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin and Deputy Director Faran Siddiqui.
Illegal scheme dismantled
During inspections, the enforcement team identified a housing scheme named “Grand City” being developed in Chak No. 59-JB without fulfilling legal requirements.
Authorities immediately demolished under-construction structures, sealed the site office, and confiscated office equipment.
Warning to developers and investors
FDA officials directed the developer to complete all mandatory legal and departmental approvals, warning that further violations could lead to criminal proceedings.
The authority also advised the public to avoid investing in illegal housing schemes and to verify project approvals before purchasing plots.
Citizens have been encouraged to contact the FDA Town Planning Department for verification and guidance to prevent financial losses.
