Oppo Find X9 Ultra Camera Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch

Oppo has confirmed full camera details of the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra ahead of its official launch on April 21 in China and global markets.

Additional design and hardware details have also surfaced through a China Telecom listing.

Camera System Takes Center Stage

Oppo confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.

The company has now revealed the full setup, which includes a 200MP primary sensor with an almost 1-inch size. This sensor is claimed to deliver 10% better light intake compared to the previous generation.

The device will also feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, offering 36% improved light intake over its predecessor.

Alongside these, the phone includes a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front-facing camera, both said to capture 56% more light than earlier models.

A new true color camera is also part of the setup, described as being 43% more light-sensitive. The China Telecom listing identifies this sensor as a 3.2MP unit.

Display and Performance Details

According to the listing, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 3168 × 1440.

The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Design and Build

The phone is expected to launch in Polar Glacier, Rongsha Valley, and Tundra color options. The leaked renders show the device in the Tundra finish.

On the right side, the device includes volume and power buttons along with a dedicated camera button. The left side appears to feature a shortcut key.

The rear camera module is relatively thick, though not as large as the one seen on the recently launched vivo X300 Ultra.

Launch Timeline

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be officially unveiled in China on April 21 alongside the Oppo Find X9s Ultra.
