Gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Tuesday in line with trends in international prices.
The price of one tola lost Rs. 4,600 to settle at Rs. 499,962, while 10 grams gained Rs. 3,943 to reach Rs. 428,636, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Today’s gains come after markets reacted heavily to US President Donald Trump’s blockade of Iranian ports in the Gulf. Traders expect gold to remain volatile as uncertainty looms over any developments in the war situation.
On Monday, gold lost Rs. 1,600 to reach Rs. 362 per tola.
Silver increased by Rs. 326 to reach Rs. 8,260 per tola.
