Hillary Clinton Says Trump in Weak Position Against Iran After Failed Islamabad Talks

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed serious concern over rising tensions and stalled negotiations between the United States and Iran after both sides failed to get a deal done in last week’s landmark Islamabad talks.

Speaking during a television interview, Clinton said the United States should have maintained strategic pressure on Tehran but instead appears to have lost diplomatic leverage.

She said Washington no longer holds the upper hand in these negotiations.

She also criticized the foreign policy approach of President Donald Trump and questioned the involvement of his son-in-law Jared Kushner and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff in last week’s diplomatic discussions.

Clinton argued that the current strategy has weakened America’s negotiating position.
