Redmi K90 Max Appears on Geekbench with Flagship Chipset

Redmi is preparing to launch the K90 Max later this month alongside the K Pad 2, and a prototype of the smartphone has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing key hardware details.

Benchmark Listing Reveals Performance

The device, carrying the model number 2604FRK1EC, was recently tested on Geekbench 6.6. The listing shows a single-core score of 3,513 and a multi-core score of 10,711, indicating high-end performance.

Internals and Software

The Redmi K90 Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The tested prototype includes 16GB of RAM, although additional memory configurations are expected at launch.

The smartphone will run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top.

Design and Display

According to earlier details, the K90 Max will feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The device is also expected to include a built-in cooling fan, described as the largest ever used in a smartphone. Redmi claims the fan can reduce internal temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius within 100 seconds of operation.

Battery and Durability

The handset is rumored to pack an 8,500mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.

Despite the inclusion of an internal fan, the device is expected to carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Launch Timeline

Redmi is set to officially unveil the K90 Max later this month, where full specifications and additional details are likely to be confirmed.
