Xiaomi Launches Ice Cream With Standard, Pro, and Max Versions

Xiaomi has introduced an unexpected product at its 2026 Values Conference, moving beyond electronics to launch its own ice cream. The ice cream follows Xiaomi’s familiar product tiering, with three versions: Standard, Pro, and Max.

The Standard version is priced at $0.88 and includes the base ice cream. The Pro version costs $1.02 and adds a single cookie. The Max version is priced at $1.32 and includes three cookies.

The ice cream was created by cafeteria chef Bing Jiabao. The recipe draws inspiration from tofu ice cream and incorporates millet, a grain associated with Xiaomi’s branding.

The preparation process involves steaming millet, turning it into a paste mixed with milk, and adding millet grains as toppings. According to Xiaomi, the recipe was refined over three iterations to enhance the flavor of millet.

Images from the launch show the ice cream machine carrying branding from Mengniu, indicating a possible collaboration.

Xiaomi has operated its cafeteria internally since 2015, with all chefs and staff employed directly by the company and receiving standard benefits.

The launch quickly gained attention on social media. Some users commented humorously about the absence of an “Ultra” version or suggested a “Youth Edition.”

Xiaomi confirmed that the ice cream sold out shortly after it was introduced.
