Babar Azam, captain of Peshawar Zalmi, added another major milestone to his career with an unbeaten half-century against Quetta Gladiators in the 23rd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) at the National Bank Stadium.
He scored an unbeaten 71 off 51 deliveries, guiding Zalmi to a comfortable eight-wicket win over their traditional rivals. The innings marked his 100th half-century in T20 cricket.
With this achievement, Babar Azam became only the fourth player in the history of the format to reach 100 T20 fifties. He joins an elite group that includes David Warner, Virat Kohli, and Jos Buttler.
Warner, who is currently leading Karachi Kings in PSL 11, holds the top spot on the list with 126 half-centuries. Kohli follows with 107, while Buttler and Babar both have 100.

|---|---|---|---|
| David Warner | Australia | 116 | 435 |
| Virat Kohli | India | 107 | 401 |
| Jos Buttler | England | 100 | 468 |
| Babar Azam | Pakistan | 100 | 341 |
Notably, Babar Azam match-winning knock was also his 110th fifty-plus score in men’s T20 cricket. This helped him equal the record of Chris Gayle, who also has 110 scores of fifty or more, but in 455 innings, 104 more than Babar.
Warner also leads the list for most fifty-plus scores in T20s, followed by Kohli with 116. Babar and Gayle are jointly in third place with 110, while Buttler has 108.
