Pakistan’s monthly IT exports rose to $413 million in March 2026, marking a 21 percent increase compared with the same month last year and a 13 percent rise from February.
According to Arif Habib Limited (AHL), technology exports contributed 46 percent to the overall services.
The latest figure takes IT exports in the first nine months of FY26 to $3.39 billion, reflecting a 20 percent year on year increase. Net IT exports, calculated as exports minus imports, stood at $360 million for March, up 16 percent from a year earlier.
Pakistan’s IT exports mainly include software services, freelancing income, business process outsourcing, and other digital services provided to overseas clients.
The government has set an FY26 target of $5 billion, although Topline Research expects full-year exports to come in closer to $4.5 billion, still up significantly from $3.8 billion in FY25.
