The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that public attendance has been approved for all three playoff matches of the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
The PCB chairman confirmed the news after receiving clearance from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Sharing the update, Mohsin Naqvi said he had just held a meeting with the prime minister, who gave the go-ahead for fans to attend the remaining playoff fixtures.
However, the approval comes with a condition.
According to Naqvi, the prime minister has strongly encouraged spectators to use public transport or reduce fuel consumption while travelling to the stadiums, in line with the government’s ongoing national austerity measures.
The prime minister also extended his best wishes to all four teams taking part in the playoffs.
The announcement comes days after PCB made the decision to allow fans back in the stadium for the PSL 11 final. The latest news clears the way for fans to attend all three knockout matches of PSL 11 as well.
With the playoff race now entering its final phase, the decision is expected to lift the atmosphere around the competition and ensure bigger crowds for the season’s most important matches.
