Spotify is Now Your Fitness App as Well

Spotify has introduced a new Fitness Hub as it looks to expand its role in users’ workout routines. The new feature adds guided workout experiences alongside the platform’s existing music playlists.

The Fitness Hub is available to both Free and Premium users. It can be accessed on phones, computers, and TVs. Users can find the feature through the new Fitness Hub section, the Browse All tab, or by searching for the term “fitness.”

Workout Content From Creators

Spotify is launching the service with content from several known fitness creators, including Kassandra Reinhardt, Caitlin K’eli, Chloe Ting, Raven Ross, Abi Mills, and Sophie Reid, among others.

Audio And Video Formats

Some workout sessions are offered in video format, while others are audio-only.

Inside the Fitness Hub, sessions are grouped into categories to help users choose activities such as Cardio: Floor, Cardio: Outdoor, Yoga, and Pilates.

Premium subscribers will also receive access to content from Peloton through a new partnership.

Spotify said this includes a growing library of 1,400 on-demand classes. The catalog covers outdoor runs, structured mat-based sessions, strength training, cardio, yoga, and meditation.

The classes feature instructors including Rebecca Kennedy, Ally Love, and Rad Lopez.

Spotify added that users do not need Peloton equipment to access these classes.
