AI Marketing Poised to Become a $300 Billion Industry in Next Few Years

The global artificial intelligence marketing industry is entering a rapid expansion phase, with new projections showing the sector could generate $82 billion in annual revenue by 2030, and perhaps $300 billion by 2035.

The Kobeissi Letter wrote in a post today that AI marketing sector could grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 25 percent between 2025 and 2030 due to quick adoption of automation, data analytics, and intelligent decision-making systems across businesses.

Long-term projections are even more aggressive. Some estimates suggest the industry could surpass $300 billion in annual revenue by 2035.

A recent survey conducted by PwC found that 88 percent of executives plan to increase AI-related budgets within the next 12 months, largely due to the rise of “agentic AI”. This tool is capable of independently executing complex business tasks rather than simply assisting human workers.

Marketing has emerged as one of the most prominent real-world applications of agentic AI tech. Companies are increasingly relying on autonomous AI agents to manage customer targeting, generate advertising creatives, conduct A/B testing, and adjust campaigns automatically based on data.

AI’s ability to combine automation, predictive analytics, and personalization at scale is redefining the global marketing industry, that much we can clearly see.

AI is expected to become a core pillar of the marketing industry over the next few years.
