The Higher Education Department, Punjab, has taken a decision to set up counseling centers in government colleges for the guidance and welfare of students.
This initiative aims to build the character of students, improve their mental health, and prepare them for a better future.
According to officials, 13 different types of facilities will be provided to students in these counseling centers, which will include psychological support and socio-economic guidance.
Apart from this, students will also be made aware of health, hygiene, and educational matters so that their overall development is possible.
The centers will also guide career counseling, employment opportunities, skill development, and professional training, which will help students make better decisions in practical life.
