The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 152nd consecutive day on Monday.
Meanwhile, it posted losses against most of the other major currencies during today’s session.
The PKR closed at 278.76 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
Currency dealers observed dullness due to uncertainty at cash counters after the latest Iran-US war news. Iran has submitted a detailed proposal via Pakistan to end the war with the US, but President Donald Trump has yet to decide anything in that regard.
PKR was stable against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it lost Rs. 1.92 against the British Pound (GBP) and 82 paisas against the Euro (EUR).

It lost Rs. 1.63 against the Australian Dollar (AUD) and 92 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
