Lenovo’s New 4K OLED Gaming Monitor Can Charge Laptops And Display Multiple Sources Simultaneously

Lenovo has introduced a new OLED gaming monitor through its Lecoo sub-brand, expanding its presence in the growing high-end display market.

Other than high-end gaming-grade features, it also comes with convenient connectivity, letting you charge other devices or display multiple sources at the same time.

Design And Display

The Lecoo W3259PS features a 31.5-inch screen with 4K UHD resolution and a QD-OLED panel.

OLED technology allows the display to control brightness and color at the pixel level, resulting in deep blacks, high contrast, and better colors, resulting in an improved display quality over LCDs.

The panel includes an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and offers a peak brightness of 450 nits.

Gaming Features

The monitor supports a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, aimed at reducing motion blur in fast scenes.

It also includes Adaptive Sync to prevent screen tearing. Additional gaming tools include on-screen crosshairs and preset picture modes for FPS and RTS titles.

Color Accuracy

The display uses a 10-bit panel capable of showing 1.07 billion colors. It covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% of sRGB. The monitor is factory calibrated with an average Delta E below 2 for color accuracy.

To reduce eye strain, it includes a flicker-free design and low blue light technology.

Connectivity

The W3259PS includes one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, and a USB-C port with up to 90W power delivery. This allows users to connect and charge compatible laptops using a single cable. It also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes for viewing two sources at once.

The monitor includes an adjustable stand supporting height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. It also supports a 75 x 75mm VESA mount for third-party setups.

The Lecoo W3259PS is priced at around $805.
