Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max may feature a smaller Dynamic Island cutout, according to a new leak.
A tipster on X claims to have received CAD files for the devices, possibly originating from a case manufacturer.
The images show a noticeably narrower punch-hole cutout at the top of the display compared to previous Pro models. While the cutout appears less wide, it may be slightly taller.
If accurate, the reduced size could indicate that Apple has moved some components under the display. The leak suggests that at least part of the Touch ID sensors may no longer be housed within the cutout.
Reports indicate that the rear design of the iPhone 18 Pro models is expected to remain largely unchanged. As a result, the smaller Dynamic Island may be the primary design update for the upcoming devices.
