Balochistan Board Announces 2026 Matric Exam Results

The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has announced the 2026 annual matriculation examination results, with male students securing the top positions this year.

According to the official results, Ahmed of Balochistan Residential College (BRC) Loralai secured first place with 1,051 marks. Matiullah of BRC Zhob took second place with 1,050 marks.

Younus Khan and Muhammad Mudasir, both from BRC Loralai, shared third place after scoring 1,046 marks each.

The board said that 77,251 students appeared in the 10th-grade examinations, out of which 69,002 passed. The overall pass percentage for the exams stood at 89.32%.

For the 9th-grade examinations, 68,517 students appeared, while 50,400 passed. The pass percentage for 9th grade was recorded at 73.56%.

Education officials said the results reflected strong academic performance across the province. They noted that boys secured the top positions this year, while the overall pass percentages showed steady improvement.

The announcement led to celebrations in schools and colleges across Balochistan, with students, parents, and teachers welcoming the results and expressing hope for the future of education in the province.
