PAF Honors Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb on Marka-e-Haq Anniversary

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) honored Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed at a special ceremony held at Air Headquarters in Islamabad to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq.

During the event, officials recognized him for his professional excellence, leadership, and contributions during the May conflict with India. They also highlighted his key role in the coordinated and effective use of air power, particularly in mission planning and force allocation.

The ceremony paid tribute to the dedication and operational capabilities of the Pakistan Air Force while honoring personnel who played a significant role in the mission.

Addressing the ceremony, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu said the PAF demonstrated its “unmatched capability, resilience, and dominance” during Marka-e-Haq and upheld its legacy of being “second to none.”

He said Pakistan’s success was the result of a unified national approach and noted that the PAF conducted a full-spectrum multi-domain operation for the first time in the history of air warfare. According to the air chief, the operation targeted several high-value and high-visibility targets with precision.

The air chief also praised Pakistan’s cyber teams for disrupting enemy cyber security systems and operational infrastructure during the conflict. He further stated that the PAF’s homegrown kill chain successfully integrated operational elements into a single force package.

He added that the leadership of Syed Asim Munir and the country’s leadership also played an important role in securing victory. The air chief said the Pakistan Air Force would continue preparing for future challenges and remain a symbol of pride for the nation.
