Gold prices fell for the second consecutive day in Pakistan on Saturday after a small decline in international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan decreased by Rs. 400 to reach Rs. 493,662.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs. 343 to Rs. 423,235.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $4 per ounce to $4,713 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also fell, with per tola silver losing Rs. 12 to reach Rs. 8,513.
Today’s close is based on the prevalent market’s reaction to ongoing skirmishes between Iran and US naval forces at Hormuz. The ceasefire is still in effect regardless.
